The German producer price indices for oak recorded an increase in November 2022. On average, the index for trunk wood increased by 5,9% to 136,5 points. For A grades there was not enough data material available. B qualities reached the level of 143 points ( 7,0% ), to which 3 m lengths contributed with 5,3% to 136,3 points – and 5 m lengths with 10,9% to 166,4 .
C qualities in November reached 143,7 points ( 6,4% ) – in 3 m lengths 147 ( 2,3% ). 5 m lengths reached 150,4 points ( 9,0% ).
For oak pulpwood Destatis calculated an index of 103,4 points ( -0,4% ). Pulpwood of beech reached 118,7 points ( 6,7% ). The hardwood pulpwood index arrived at 116,4 points ( 5,8% ).
