In January-March 2018, Russian pulp exports increased year-on-year, indicate the statistics published by the Russian Federal Customs Office.
Thus, during the first three months of the current year Russia exported 506,900 tonnes of pulp, that is 1.9% more than during the previous year.
The total value of the Russian pulp exported in January-March 2018 went up to $348.4 million. Therefore, the increase came up to 51.7%.
Besides, in January-March 2018, Russia exported 251,800 tonnes of newsprint valued at $119.8 million. Thus, Russian newsprint export reduced by 3.8% in volume terms. During the same period it grew by 11% in value terms.
