Roundwood prices in Estonia eased in May

After months of continuous growth, Estonian roundwood prices have eased slightly in May. Only spruce roundwood and pine pulpwood prices have become more expensive as compared to April. All other prices have eased, mostly around 2-3%.

Birch veneer is cheaper compared to the previous month by almost 9%. Also birch and poplar roundwood are slightly cheaper. All other ranges are more expensive than in May 2012. Pine and pine pulpwood cost more by 10-12% than a year ago.
