AlternativtextThe German producer prices for pine were still divided in November 2020. While pine logs continued the upward trend from October 2020 (+0.9% to 68.4 points), other ranges continued to trend downwards. pulpwood pine, for example, lost 1% compared to the previous month to a level of 56.2 points. Pine long even lost 3% (57.6) and short fell slightly (-0.4% to 55.7).

Compared to the same month last year, pine still lagged behind by 17%. Short (-18%) and long (-16%) also left a lot to be desired. Pine logs were still down 13%.

AlternativtextCompared to other softwoods, pine in November 2020 was the closest to the comparable value from 2015 in terms of price, followed by douglas fir and spruce. However, spruce has recently increased particularly strongly. Douglas fir even reached the level of the previous year and has been comparatively stable in price since February.
