2008北京木工展—两年一度亚洲第一的业界盛会

第十二届国际木工机械及家具生产设备展览会和第十二届国际家具配件、材料及木品展览会(简称2008北京木工展)于2008年3月10日在北京中国国际展览中心圆满落下帷幕。2008北京木工展展出面积高达60,000平方米，较上一届激增36%。来自20多个国家及地区600多家展商强势参展，而观众及买家也相当踊跃，来自欧洲、东南亚及美州的多个买家团体组团参观，展会期间共35,000多名世界各地的专业人士莅临现场。
威力公司亚太地区的销售经理Frank Kohler说：“近来，由于中国木材原材料价格和劳动力价格飞速上涨，因此，能够提高实木利用率的生产机械越来越受到木材加工企业的青睐，我们威力公司生产的优选横截锯就能够实现上述要求。”在本次展会中，威力公司展出了其优选横截锯OptiCut200。根据威力公司在中国地区的生产经理张小姐介绍：OptiCut200优选横截锯是威力在中国主推的产品之一，另外，优选横截锯系列的最新产品是OptiCut450，它的进给速度可以达到415m/min，将日产量提高30%，在中国具有较大的发展潜力。随着横截锯的重要性逐渐上升，其它的公司如美资公司Union Brother和国内的江佳机械，也分别展示了它们的横截锯产品，其进给速度分别可达到300m/min和240m/min。
金田豪迈也感到了劳动力和木材原料价格增长的压力，在展会上，他们展出了封边机KAL 310/8/A3/S2和砂光机。北京区的销售主任王先生介绍，他们还将参加3月份上海DOMOTEX展会和广州家具展，届时将展出一些在中国首次展出的新设备。
有人认为中国地板行业的投资已达到了顶点。明硕涂装设备公司仍然主要将其设备出售给地板生产商，近两年来，其设备有少量转向了家具行业。华龙机械设备公司也是以生产涂装设备为主的公司，其设备主要出售给家具和厨具行业，华龙公司的出口经理李先生说：“我认为中国的地板行业已经到了饱和状态，我们将设备改装以适应家具行业的需要，同时还可以避免涂料的浪费。”华龙公司计划明年建立一个原工厂规模3倍大的新工厂，一旦该工厂建立，这将是亚洲最大的涂装机械设备生产厂。
